Are the grounds handicap accessible?
Cheekwood is a historic property with hills and uneven footing. There are several areas where wheelchairs and strollers are not accessible. Click here for a map outlining accessible areas. Maps are also available at the Visitor's Services desk. - Do you have a shuttle?
Cheekwood has a shuttle that runs during business hours and can transfer you between all buildings. Simply ask any of the staff to call it for you.
. - Do you have wheelchairs available?
Yes, wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis in Botanic Hall and the Museum of Art.
. - Can we have a picnic on the grounds?
Yes, we have several benches on the grounds or you can bring a blanket. You can bring your own picnic or have The Pineapple Room make you a boxed lunch.
- How long does it take to see everything?
Allow yourself at least two hours to see everything. Remember, Cheekwood sits on 55 acres and the Museum is 30,000 square feet!

We offer year-round activities for children. For example, every Tuesday and Saturday Cheekwood offers art and craft activities for children and families. And every summer, we have Summer Art Camp for children ages 2 - 15.
