Shawn Colvin kicks of anticipated outdoor music series at Cheekwood

WHAT: LIVE! at Cheekwood, five outdoor concerts on Cheekwood's beautiful grounds from June through October with Chihuly at Cheekwood the perfect backdrop for live music, all in celebration of the 50th anniversary. Cheekwood kicks off the season with a performance by Grammy Award-winning singer songwriter Shawn Colvin on June 10. 

Shawn Colvin mesmerizes listeners with her slow-release works of craft and catharsis. Colvin is both a keen and warm-hearted story-teller, weaving intimate, personal, and often hilarious stories into her musical performance. In the 19 years since the release of her debut album, Colvin has won three Grammy Awards, released eight albums, maintained a non-stop national and international touring schedule, appeared on countless television and radio programs, had her songs featured in major motion pictures, and created a remarkable cannon of work.
