Enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season with us as we celebrate our 50th anniversary as a part of our annual holiday festivities. Enjoy artfully trimmed trees representing the many sides of Cheekwood, from art and gardens to music and education. Each specially designed tree will bring a different side of Cheekwood to life. Cheekwood is enchanting, entertaining, and educational all year round – celebrate with us!
Museum Concert Series
The holidays just wouldn’t be the same without the music that ushers the season in and sets the tone for some of our warmest memories. Join us in the Museum’s intimate Drawing Room on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 pm for live music from the city’s best bluegrass groups, big bands, choral ensembles and finest classical musicians. Deck your halls with Cheekwood’s help this holiday season when you and your family create festive decorations and warm memories with us. Join us on Saturdays from 10:00am to noon for our drop-in craft program, and stay for cookie decorating in the Learning Center until 1:00 pm.
Adult Gingerbread Workshop
Thursday, December 2
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
$50 members / $67 non-members
Make an outing of this workshop, and reconnect with friends over heavy hors d’oeuvres as you build your one-of-a-kind gingerbread house to take home. A cash bar will be serving holiday cheer in the Pineapple Room, and gingerbread kits will be provided by the nationally acclaimed Enchanted Gingerbread Studios.
Family Gingerbread Workshop

$45 members / $60 non-members (price per house)
Start a fun holiday tradition at Cheekwood’s gingerbread workshop this year when you decorate your own gingerbread house and build family memories with your little ones. Join instructors from Nashville’s Enchanted Gingerbread Studios to create a one-of-a-kind holiday decoration to take home, show off, enjoy, and eventually… eat!
Holiday Wreath-Making Workshop
Sunday, December 5th ,2:00 pm
$45 members / $60 non-members
Nothing says Christmas like a traditional evergreen wreath! Join Joan Presley of Geny’s Wholesale Floral in this hands-on workshop to create your own one-of-a-kind live wreath and add a personal touch to your holiday décor. All materials and supplies provided by Cheekwood.

Breakfast with Santa

Every holiday season should include a photo with Santa. This is your chance! Join Saint Nick and his friends for breakfast and stick around to create holiday arts and crafts—perfect as gifts or decorations. Don’t forget your camera!
Angel Dinner

For the 43rd year in a row, the Angel’s dinner will be a dazzling holiday highlight, featuring cocktails, hors d’oevures, and dinner in the fully decked Cheekwood Mansion followed by fabulous entertainment in Botanic Hall.
Martinis & Mistletoe

Mix and mingle at one of the season’s best holiday soirees. Kick off the season in Botanic Hall with special holiday martinis, dancing and delicious late night snacks.
Sparkling Settings Luncheon
