Eduardo Paolozzi: Portfolio Selections
July 12 - November 2
Eduardo Paolozzi was born on March 7, 1924, in Edinburgh, Scotland. Known for his sculptures and collage pieces, Paolozzi is referred to by many as the “inventor of Pop Art.” His work is considered highly innovative, blending Pop culture references with technological imagery. Paolozzi produced several portfolios during his impressive career, and Cheekwood is honored to exhibit a selection of these works from a private collection. This exhibition is a perfect complement to Andy Warhol’s Flowers, which is on view in the Museum of Art until September 7, 2014.
