Experience the creative process up close as professional artists demonstrate their crafts at your school. Students watch as a piece of copper is enameled to create jewelry; discover how a block of clay is thrown into a bowl; and learn how to mix dyes to transfer a unique design onto a piece of cloth. These interactive art demonstrations will inspire your students to explore their own creative potential. Craft Outreach is open to six public elementary schools in Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson Counties and will take place in spring 2014.
