Brindley will be exhibiting a new drawing of Cheekwood’s historic Swan Lawn Oak Tree along with other new work and many tree-related drawings and paintings from the past three decades, including his studies of trees at Glen Leven, the staircase at the Tennessee Governor’s Residence and the Wisteria Arbor at Cheekwood.  More

Patrick Dougherty:
Little Bitty Pretty One
Through March 2015
Patrick Dougherty, the 2014 Martin Shallenberger Artist-in-Residence, creates large-scale temporary sculptures from sticks. His sculpture at Cheekwood is inspired by an English Oast house. Over the last two decades, Dougherty has installed over 200 projects in many public and private places including museums, botanic gardens, college campuses, and private residencies around the world.
