October 29 Goblins in the Garden

Scare up your favorite silly or spooky costume and join us for a ghoulish good time at the 7th annual Goblins in the Garden. We’ll be trick-or-treating our way through the gardens at 10:30am from Botanic Hall’s Massey Auditorium, as well as enjoying frighteningly fun entertainment and crafts. Count on spooky surprises and special treats. We’ll see you here on October 29th from 10:00am – 12:00pm for a howling good time!

October 27 Drawing Room Concert Series featuring Belmont University’s School of Music: Classical and Jazz Strings

Cheekwood is honored to partner with Belmont’s School of Music for a second time to offer a fall concert series in the Museum’s intimate Drawing Room.

October 29 Goblins in the Garden

November 2 El Día de los Muertos

Come celebrate with us at our 14th annual Día de los Muertos festival. In recognition of this Latin American holiday, Cheekwood will bring the traditions of Mexico to Nashville. We’ll celebrate with lively music and dance, vibrant art activities and authentic Mexican food. Learn about the culture of our Latin American neighbors as you explore the beautiful altar displays, shop in the bustling Mexican marketplace, and enjoy the fine cuisine from local bakeries and restaurants. October 27 Guided Garden Tours: Wills Perennial Garden

Meet one of our knowledgeable guides at Visitor Services to take a guided tour of Cheekwood’s living exhibitions. It’s a great opportunity to lean more about our incredible gardens, and a fun way to discover something new about Cheekwood. All tours begin at Visitor Services.  Tours are free and no reservation is required.

1:00pm – House and History: Cheekwood as a Country Place Estate
Cheekwood is one of the nation’s finest examples of a Country Place Estate. Join one of our expert docents to discover the history of the Cheek family and explore Cheekwood’s place in the country estate era. Tours are free and no reservation is required. All tours begin in the Museum lobby.

November 2 Guided Museum Tours

11:00am – Collection & Exhibition Tour
Learn about the Museum’s collections and current exhibition, More Love.

1:00pm – House & History Tour
Learn about the design and construction of the mansion and grounds in the early 20th century, and explore Cheekwood’s place in the American Country Place Estate Era. 

Tours are free and no reservation is required. All tours begin in the Museum Foyer.
