In anticipation of Chihuly at Cheekwood, and in collaboration with Chihuly Studio, we’ve brought to you series of short films that showcase the extraordinary artwork of Dale Chihuly. “Playing with Fire” explores how Chihuly and his team play with fire to create glass masterpieces. “Garden Cycle” highlights the artist’s Garden exhibitions, where he explores his love and connection with nature. “Macchia” offers a look inside the unexpected color combinations of the Macchia series, and the possibilities of scale to create pieces up to four feet in diameter. We hope these videos are entertaining and insightful, and look forward to welcoming you to our estate and gardens for the 10th anniversary of Chihuly at Cheekwood.
