Herb Study Garden
Join the Herb Society of Nashville and Leah Larabell for a fun afternoon learning how to beat the heat with delicious herbs and teas. In this drop-in style talk, Leah will introduce you to several herbs known as “refrigerants” or cooling herbs. These herbs help your body cool down when the heat is high. Not only will you learn which herbs offer this amazing benefit, but Leah will also demonstrate how to craft them into delicious sun teas, iced teas, oxymels and popsicles. You will learn how to go from garden to glass with ease.
This talk will be held in the Herb Study Garden, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be relocated indoors. Please note that neither Cheekwood nor the Nashville Herb Society advise or recommend herbs for medicinal or health use. This information is intended for educational purposes only and should not be considered as a recommendation or an endorsement of any particular medical or health treatment.
