Participants of this workshop will examine the art of William Edmondson in the exhibition The Sculpture of William Edmondson: Tombstones, Garden Ornaments, and Stonework, and will discuss content, composition, and more with local photographers DaShawn Lewis and Kim Manson. After taking time to explore the exhibition, participants will focus on composing environmental portraits in natural light conditions. This is a beginner skill-level class. Advance registration required. Participants are asked to bring their own camera, and to dress comfortably for walking/sun exposure. Workshop includes access to the Gardens and Mansion on the date of your class.
