Cheekwood Admission Ticket Details

• Tickets are non-refundable. All sales are final. 

• Tickets may be transferred one time to another date in advance of your scheduled date and time of visit of the original order  and are subject to a transfer fee  per order.

• Admission is required for ALL guests, including kids under 2.  

• Discounts cannot be stacked; only one discount per order.  

• Each ticket is valid for one use on the selected date and time. Guests must arrive within the designated time slot selected at time of purchase.

• Unredeemed tickets are considered a donation to Cheekwood.

• You must show your ticket to enter the event (tickets can be printed or scanned on a smart phone) 

• General admission tickets are not valid for special events, including Spring Art Hop, El Día de los Muertos and Holiday LIGHTS, Chihuly Nights. Special Event tickets must be purchased. 

• Complimentary passes are not valid during special events, including Spring Art Hop, El Día de los Muertos, Chihuly Nights and Holiday LIGHTS. 

• Cheekwood members receive free admission but tickets are required for certain special events and programs, like Spring Art Hop, El Día de los Muertos, Chihuly Nights and Holiday LIGHTS 

• Reciprocal membership discount is not valid for special events, including Spring Art Hop, El Día de los Muertos, Chihuly Nights and Holiday LIGHTS

Cheekwood Ticket Transfer Information

The event will be held rain or shine, and no refunds will be issued as a result of inclement weather while the event remains open.  If, however, the event is closed or postponed due to severe weather, ticket holders will be offered a transfer or refund.

Tickets are nonrefundable, but may be transferred one time to another date in advance of your scheduled date and time of visit and are subject to a transfer fee per order. The transfer fee is non-refundable to please review the ticketing calendar for availability before submitting your request. 

Tickets can only be transferred within the same program. Exchange is based on availability and is not guaranteed. A new receipt will be sent from info@cheekwood.org once the transfer is complete, which can take up to 24 hours. If your request cannot be completed, a Visitor Services Representative will reach out to you.

Please note, any tickets purchased with Promo Code MondayLights or any other discount is non-transferable and non-refundable. Late Night Lights tickets are only transferable to a Monday-Thursday at 8:30 PM during Holiday Lights.

Holiday LIGHTS Event Ticket Details

• Tickets are non-refundable. All sales are final.

• Tickets are required for ALL guests, including kids under 2. 

• Each ticket is valid for one use on the selected night only. 

• Unredeemed tickets are considered a donation to Cheekwood.

• You must show your ticket to enter the event (tickets can be printed or scanned on a smart phone) 

• Guests must arrive within the designated time slot selected at time of purchase.  

• Reciprocal membership discount is not valid for this special event.  

• Complimentary admission passes are not valid for this special event unless the pass specifically states Holiday LIGHTS. 

• Discount passes, coupons and promotional codes are not valid for this special event unless they specifically state Holiday LIGHTS.

 Military, first responders, and medical professionals (with valid ID) get 50% off up to 5 tickets for immediate family every Monday night on nighttime “Gardens Only” tickets using the promotion code MondayLights. If you are unable to present a valid ID then the discount will be void and you will need to purchase admission to visit Cheekwood. Tickets purchased with the MondayLights Promotion Code are not valid for 8:30PM Late Night Lights tickets and are non-refundable but can be transferred to another Monday night during Holiday Lights 2020.

• Cheekwood Member receive a discount per ticket based upon membership level. If the Cheekwood membership is a Family One, Family Two or Contributing Level you will receive five discounted youth tickets.

Special Event Weather Policy

Workshop Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cheekwood does not provide customer cancellation refunds less than 14 days prior to classes or workshops. All refunds will be subject to a processing fee.

Please note that current Members purchasing tickets without their Membership Discount are not eligible for a refund of their discount amount after their transaction is completed. Your membership discount will display on the final transaction screen when you are prompted to enter credit card information. Membership Discounts

Membership Online Discounts:

In order to access applicable Member Discounts for tickets, workshops, camps, you must first click Sign In/Register on the ticketing page and enter the e-mail address and password associated with your Cheekwood membership. Discounts are based upon your membership level. Your discount will be reflected on the final payment page in the shopping cart.   

Accessibility

Cheekwood is committed to making its exhibitions, programs and services as accessible as possible, and is actively working to make its grounds and facilities more user-friendly. However, due to the historic nature of much of the gardens and mansion, some areas may present challenges to those in wheelchairs, or who have difficulty walking or climbing.  

Cheekwood provides manually operated wheelchairs as a courtesy to our guests. They are available on a first come, first served basis and can be checked-out from the Visitor Services Center. 

Parking

Parking is located on-site at Cheekwood. Please use our main entrance located at 1200 Forrest Park Drive Nashville, TN 37205. Security will direct you to available parking upon arrival.  A limited number of accessible parking spaces are reserved in Parking Lot A, please notify security if you need assistance. Shuttles available upon request.  

Notice of Photography & Filming

Photographs and/or video might be taken at any Cheekwood event for use in Cheekwood marketing initiatives, including in news materials, promotional materials, on the web and other properties. Please be aware that by entering Cheekwood and by your presence at the event, you consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or recorded without financial compensation. 

Photography is allowed in most locations at Cheekwood. Temporary exhibitions may limit photography privileges. Tripods and flash photography are not permitted in the Mansion. Cheekwood charges a sitting fee for any pre-planned or posed photography or videography.

Prohibited Items

The following items are not allowed at Cheekwood at any time*: 

• Tobacco products, including e-cigarettes  

• Any source of fire including but not limited to camp stoves, candles, tiki torches and barbecue pits 

• Alcohol 

• Bags (exceeding 16 x 16 8) inside the Historic Mansion and Museum

• Drones 

• Glass Containers 

• Hoverboards 

• Scooters  

• Bicycles  

• Laser Pointers 

• Selfie Sticks in the Mansion  

• Throwing Items; including but not limited to balls and frisbees  

• Strollers and Baby carries into the Mansion (Baby carriers on the body are permitted when worn in the front) 

• Tripods in the Mansion  

• Guns, Weapons and/or Knives (with or without a permit)

• Dogs are only permitted during special dog events including Dogs and Dogwoods, Dog Nights of Summer, Halloween Pooch Parade and Dog Photos with Santa.

* This list is subject to change without prior notice based on the decision of the operators of the venue.  

Historic Mansion & Museum Guidelines

 Please refrain from the following while visiting the Historic Mansion and Museum: 

• Touching the fine art, decorative art (including furniture), and exhibited objects and casework.

• Bringing food and drink into the mansion. 

• Using flash photography 

• Bringing strollers into the mansion. 

• Baby carriers (Baby carriers on the body are permitted when worn in the front) 

• Bringing large bags, purses, luggage. We recommend storing these items in your vehicle during your visit. 

• Taking cell phone calls. Cell phones may be used for non-flash photography. 

• Using pens, colored pencils, oil paints, charcoal, watercolors or easels. All visitors are permitted to sketch in the Museum of Art on paper not to exceed 12” x 18” and with lead pencils only. If individuals need to sharpen their pencils, they must use their own containers to collect the shavings. 

Additional Guidelines

Sensory Advisory:

The event may include bright lights, music, and other elements which may affect those susceptible to audible or photo sensitivities.    

For the safety of our guests and the environment:

• Cheekwood is a smoke-free environment. 

• With the exception of specific dog-centric events including Dog Photos with Santa, Dogs and Dogwoods, Dog Nights of Summer, and Halloween Pooch Parade, only certified service animals are permitted; pets must stay at home.  

• Good walking shoes are recommended. 

• Visitors are only permitted on paved walkways, mulched trails and mown lawn areas. 

• There are several areas where wheelchairs and strollers are not accessible. Accessibility maps are available at Visitor Services. 

• Picnics are permitted in designated areas in the gardens. 

• Cheekwood is not responsible for lost, stolen or unattended items or property on its campus 

• Outside alcohol is not permitted. Beverages can be purchased on-site at Café 29 or temporary bars.  

Past Special Event Ticket Information  

  • Chihuly Nights 2020

    • Tickets are non-refundable. All sales are final.  

    • Tickets may be transferred one time to another date in advance of your scheduled date and time of visit of the original order for a $10 fee per order.

    • Chihuly Nights is not included with daytime admission, tickets will be available online only. Advance tickets are required as tickets will not be sold on-site after 4 PM.

    • Tickets are required for ALL guests, including kids under 2. 

    • Each ticket is valid for one use on the selected night only. 

    • You must show your ticket to enter the event (tickets can be printed or scanned on a smart phone) 

    • Guests must arrive within the designated time slot selected at time of purchase.  

    • Reciprocal membership discount is not valid for this special event.
