Holiday LIGHTS is open 7 days a week starting November 19, 2022 – January 8, 2023.
*Please note: Cheekwood is closed Thanksgiving Day and Night, Christmas Day and Night, and New Year’s Day. Cheekwood will be open New Year’s Night (January, 1, 2023) from 5 – 10 PM
Entry times are available every 30 minutes from 5 PM to 8:30 PM. Cheekwood closes at 10 PM.
Cheekwood has limited parking onsite, please follow parking attendants directions for available parking.
Yes, Parking LOT A is the designated drop off and pick up area for rideshares.

Members receive a a discount per ticket based upon their membership level. Please note a service fee of $2 will be added to each ticket.
The service fee is in place to cover ticketing software expenses, administrative costs, and transaction fees for each ticket.
The Merry and Bright Flexible admission gift package includes 2 Holiday LIGHTS Gardens & Mansion entry tickets (valid for any night of Holiday LIGHTS November 20, 2022, through January 9, 2023), 2 drink tickets, 2 s’mores kits and 10% off in the Holiday Marketplace.
Specific entry date and time is not required in advance. Just present your certificate upon arrival.

$20 Late Night Lights Garden Only Tickets are available every Monday-Thursday at 8:30 PM during Holiday LIGHTS. Please note that Cheekwood closes at 10 PM. Late Night Lights tickets are non-refundable and can only transferable to a Monday-Thursday at 8:30 PM during Holiday LIGHTS. The member discount does apply to Late Night Lights tickets.
Reserving a timed-entry ticket in advance for the time and day of your choosing is the best way to guarantee your entry into the gardens. No tickets will be sold onsite.
If you are having trouble purchasing online, please email Visitor Services at info@cheekwood.org or call 615-353-6965 and provide your contact information, date and time you would like to visit, and number of people in your party and they will reach out to you to help you secure your ticket. Please note that this could take up to 48 hours.

Yes. Cheekwood Members receive a discount per ticket based upon membership level. If the Cheekwood membership is a Family One, Family Two or Contributing Level you will receive up to five discounted youth tickets.
All available tickets are posted on Cheekwood’s online ticket calendar. If tickets are sold out for a given time or day, please select another date or time to visit or continue to check the calendar for real time updates. When reserved tickets are cancelled, the ticketing system automatically releases these for online reservations.
No, admission to Holiday LIGHTS and Cheekwood require separate tickets. Holiday LIGHTS is a special ticketed event with admissions starting at 5 PM. If you visit Cheekwood during the day, regular admission prices apply. If you have both regular admission and Holiday LIGHTS tickets, you must exit the garden by 4 PM and return to enter Holiday LIGHTS at your designated timed entry.
No. Reciprocal membership discount is not valid for this special event.
No. Discount passes, coupons, and promotional codes are not valid for this special event unless they specifically state Holiday LIGHTS.
Active duty and retired military personnel (with valid ID) get 50% off up to 5 Holiday LIGHTS Monday “Gardens Only” tickets for immediate family using the promotion code MilitaryMonday. If you are unable to present a valid ID then the discount will be void and you will need to purchase admission to visit Cheekwood. Tickets purchased with the MilitaryMonday promotion code are not valid for 8:30PM Late Night Lights tickets and are non-refundable but can only be transferred to another available Monday night during Holiday Lights 2022.
We strongly advise that you plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to your entry time to allow time for parking. To provide you with the best experience, entry is granted based on the time designed on your ticket.
No, the ticket is for your entry time only. You can stay at the property for as long as you want, within operating hours, of course.
Yes, guests may order 14 tickets per transaction.

We will try and accommodate you on the next available slot within Holiday LIGHTS operations hours on the night of your visit. Please ensure you leave enough time to arrive on time if you are traveling a long way.
Cheekwood is unable to offer refunds once Holiday LIGHTS tickets have been purchased. In the event you are unable to use your ticket, please consider your purchase a donation to Cheekwood a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
The event will be held rain or shine, and no refunds will be issued as a result of inclement weather while the event remains open. If, however, the event is closed or postponed due to severe weather, ticket holders will be e-mailed with ticket options.
Tickets are nonrefundable outside of the event being closed or postponed due to severe weather, but may be transferred one time to another date in advance of your scheduled date and time of visit for a fee of $5 per ticket.
Tickets can only be transferred within the same program. Exchange is based on availability and is not guaranteed. A new receipt will be sent from info@cheekwood.org once the transfer is complete, which can take up to 24 hours. If your request cannot be completed, a Visitor Services Representative will reach out to you.
Holiday LIGHTS is an outdoor illuminated event. If the weather presents a hazard and a risk to safety and Holiday LIGHTS, you will be notified by email and you will be informed of the re-booking process. We advise you to check the website or social media for the latest updates before you travel to Holiday LIGHTS.

The Holiday LIGHTS route is a little over a mile long. This is a self-guided walking event, there are no shuttle or tours.
In some areas the lighting will be low level as part of the experience. The path is not covered, and all guests are reminded that this is an outdoor illuminated event, and the weather may be inclement. Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear for winter.
The parking area including the pedestrian walkways are uneven terrain, please use caution.
The last time slot is 8:30 PM, and Cheekwood closes at 10 PM.
All visitor must exit the grounds by 10 PM.
Yes! Please use the hashtag #CheekwoodLights to share your experience. While waiting for that perfect shot, please do not block pathways or the view of others. No tripods allowed. Photographs and videos are not to be used for commercial purposes. No night commercial photography is allowed during Holiday LIGHTS.
No, drones are not allowed.
Dogs, with the exception of service animals, are not allowed on-site.
Please note that Emotional Support Animals are not considered service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA.
Holiday LIGHTS is a rain or shine event. Cheekwood reserves the right to shut down or cancel the event if weather conditions are assessed to pose a risk to our guests’ safety.
Yes. The event is accessible for wheelchairs, mobility assistant devices, and strollers. Cheekwood provides complimentary manually-operated wheelchairs as a courtesy to our guests. They are available on a first come, first served basis and can be checked out at check in.

The route is designed so that it can be viewed solely from even paths.
Cheekwood is committed to making its exhibitions, programs and services as accessible as possible, and is actively working to make its grounds and facilities user-friendly. However, due to the historic nature of much of the gardens and mansion, some areas may present challenges to those in wheelchairs, or who have difficulty walking or climbing.
Yes. Holiday LIGHTS is open during all weather conditions unless otherwise noted.
Yes, a selection of food and drink will be available to purchase by card only.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food. We have several benches on the grounds or you can bring a blanket. Glass containers and alcohol are not permitted.
Alcoholic beverages are available at Café 29 and at bar stations located throughout the gardens during seasonal festivals and special events.
Cheekwood’s Holiday Marketplace in the Frist Learning Center will return this year – offering an assortment of holiday décor and gifts! In addition, the Garden Shop and Museum Shop will also be open.
“Gardens & Mansion Access” tickets are not required to access the Museum Shop.
