Membership at Cheekwood

What are the membership benefits?

Will I receive a membership card?

To reduce plastic in the environment, Cheekwood no longer mails physical membership cards and now utilizes digital membership cards.  Within one week of purchase, your digital membership cards will be emailed to the primary member only.  If your membership level includes a secondary member (Dual or Family Two), the email will include instructions how to share with the secondary member.

How do I install my digital membership card on my mobile device?

How long does it take to receive my digital membership card?

Digital membership cards are sent by email within one week from purchase. Visit before receiving your digital card by presenting a photo ID to admissions staff.

What membership levels are currently available?

Cheekwood memberships are available for individuals, couples, a parent (or grandparent) with children or grandchildren (17 and under), and two-parent households with children or grandchildren (17 and under).

Are discounts available?

Seniors (65+), educators, military, and students qualify for a $10 discount on a standard level membership. Proof of status required at time of purchase; one discount per membership.

I want to bring a guest to Cheekwood. What is the easiest way to do so?

Members may purchase a “+ One Guest” or “+Two Guests” membership level. The guest may be a different person each visit. Both guest levels are now available for purchase online.

Who qualifies as a Guest?

An additional adult (17 and over) of your choosing. The guest may be a different person each visit. Guests do not have to be named; examples include nannies and caregivers. A maximum of two guests per membership can be purchased.

Can my nanny or caregiver use my membership?

Yes, nannies or caregivers may visit with member children when a “+ Guest” family level is purchased. Contributing level memberships also include two Guests. Caregivers must present proof of membership and a copy of a named member’s ID.

Will I be able to purchase a “+ Guest” level membership at a later date?

Yes, members may choose to upgrade their level to include additional Guest(s) following the initial membership purchase. The expiration date of the membership will not be affected.

How do I take advantage of member discounts online?

Click here to register your membership online at Cheekwood.org. Members will need to register first to take advantage of applicable discounts. When creating your login, please use the same address, phone, and email information you used when purchasing your membership. Once logged in, the member discount will appear after the item is added to the cart.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Cheekwood accepts cash, checks (personal or cashier), money order, MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express.

Can I join/renew over the phone?

Yes, you can join/renew over the phone. Please call 615-353-6984.

Will I get a renewal notice before my membership expires?

Yes, you will receive 2 notices, 1 by mail and 1 by email, with an opportunity to renew your membership before it expires. Renewal extends the current expiration date by 12 months.

How long does it take to get a membership processed?

For registered users, memberships purchased or renewed online are active at time of purchase.  For memberships purchased using “Check Out as Guest”, please allow up to 3 business days for processing and activation.

I lost my membership card. Can I get a new one?

Cheekwood no longer mails physical membership cards and now utilizes digital membership cards. To have your digital membership card resent, please email us at membership@cheekwood.org.

I have moved; how do I change my address with Cheekwood?

To change your address, email us at membership@cheekwood.org, phone us at 615-353-6984, or send a note by mail to 1200 Forrest Park Drive, Nashville, Tennessee, 37205.

Will there be a charge for Spring Art Hop?

Standard membership levels will be charged a reduced admission per adult for Spring Art Hop. Contributing membership levels at $250 and greater (Magnolia Society and above) will have complimentary admission to Spring Art Hop.

What’s the best way to receive information about upcoming events and activities at Cheekwood?

Please provide your email address when you join or renew your membership. For additional information and updates follow Cheekwood on social media, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

I am trying to sign-in, but your website does not recognize me. I clicked the “forgot password” link and have not receive an email from Cheekwood. How should I proceed?

Please click the Register button and complete the required information by entering the information we have on file associated with your membership.
