The Nashville Bonsai Society, an active proponent for enjoyment, education, and appreciation of the art of bonsai in Nashville for over 48 years, invites you to Cheekwood for the annual club show. Held in Massey Auditorium of Botanic Hall, this show features a variety of plants cultivated in the traditional Japanese tray-planting style, local artists and vendors with goods for your perusing, and specially curated demonstrations and workshops (pre-registration required).

1 PM – Bonsai Demonstration by Owen Reich.
Join us on Saturday at 1:00 PM for an extraordinary bonsai demo by Nashville bonsai artist Owen Reich. Having undergone his bonsai apprenticeship in Japan, Owen brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the world of bonsai, specializing in deciduous bonsai. During this demo, Owen will captivate the audience with discussions on bonsai techniques and concepts, sharing his expertise acquired through his extensive training. As an exciting conclusion to the demo, the featured tree will be raffled off, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting the Nashville Bonsai Society.
