Whether you would like to give in celebration of a birthday, marriage, retirement, or in memory of a loved one, we can help you find a meaningful and unique tribute. With every gift, Cheekwood sends an acknowledgment to the honoree notifying them of the contribution. The gift amount is kept confidential.

Tribute and Memorial Gifts
A contribution in honor or memory of someone can be made in any amount and designated to:
- Keep Cheekwood Blooming (General Operating Support)
- Permanent Endowment Fund
- Education and Outreach Programs
- Howe Garden Endowment
Seasonal Flowering Tributes
With a contribution of $500 or more, our Flowering Tributes help provide seasonal plantings in the Bradford Robinson Color Garden. Honorees are recognized with a customized 4×4 inch sign placed in a ten-foot area of plantings within the garden.
The plaques are temporary and are displayed for the season in which they are purchased. You may select any designation for a Flowering Tribute.
Named Tribute and Memorial Gifts
Named tributes will be placed with a personalized bronze plaque at a location determined by you and Cheekwood staff. Please contact Cheekwood’s Development Department to confirm availability prior to purchase.
Planters:
Small: $3,500
Large: $5,000
Planters will be replanted seasonally and remain dedicated for the lifetime of the structure, approximately 10 years.
Garden Benches: $5,000
Garden benches will remain dedicated for the lifetime of the structure, approximately 5 years.
Picnic Tables: $7,500
Picnic tables will remain dedicated for the lifetime of the structure, approximately 5 years
Tribute Trees: $15,000
The dedication will remain with the tree for its lifetime.
Bracken Foundation Children’s Garden Pavers
Pavers can be personalized and come in two sizes. Pavers provide endowment support for the Bracken Foundation Children’s Garden and are permanently displayed in the HCA Pavilion in the garden.
$5,000: a small personalized paver
$10,000: an expanded personalized paver
