Saturday, October 1
10 AM – 12 PMLearn the basics of salve making with local herbalist, and Cheekwood Garden Educator, Adria Osborne. Participants will learn to make an all-purpose healing salve (wonderful for cuts, scrapes, bruises & bug bites), and can use this knowledge to create their own salve for specific purposes – such as eczema, sore muscle balm or a balm to help soothe tension and ease headaches.

Clear your energy and mind with the guidance of a trained herbalist, who will provide insight on traditional herbs used for creating smudge sticks, along with the meaning behind them.

After a demonstration, participants will create two smudge sticks and one 2oz. tin of healing salve.

Adult classes and workshops are for participants 18 years old and older only. Minors should not be brought into classrooms and other instructional areas.
