June 13 | McKinley James

6 – 8 PM

Performing a serious mix of Motown, soul, blues, and rock ‘n roll, McKinley James isn’t just a household name — he’s a household sound. His searing, lead lines streak like jet trails from a 747. Aficionados first gravitate to his guitar playing and then realize he’s also one of the best vocalists in the game. McKinley will plug in and summon the spirits of his own idols, nearly forgotten pioneers like Otis Rush, Johnny “Guitar” Watson, Magic Sam and Lightnin’ Hopkins.
