Who:
For this intergenerational exhibition, Cheekwood is looking for works made by artists in the Greater Nashville Area who identify as Black or Mix-race. Artists must also be able to identify as a professional/working artist or a rising 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student, or a university student.
What:
All artwork types will be considered. Drawings, paintings, photographs, digital artworks, sculptures, small installations, film and animation, fashion, etc. Preference this year will be given to portraits, although all media are still accepted.
When:
The show will open on August 16 for the Black Arts Bash and run through August 29.
Deadlines:
Applications must be submitted by July 31, 2025.
