The Great Spring Art Hop Bunnies
Calling all local artists! Featuring a scavenger hunt of rabbit sculptures painted by Nashville artists, Cheekwood’s Great Spring Art Hop is the perfect event to showcase your talents. The bunnies will be displayed in various indoor and outdoor locations at Cheekwood.
Cheekwood Harvest Scarecrows
Friendly, spooky, big, and small, scarecrows are coming to our gardens again this fall! Each year, members of the Nashville community get in on Cheekwood’s seasonal fun by creating their own custom scarecrows. Get a group in your school, workplace, church, or neighborhood together and start designing your own fall friend!
Japanese Moon Viewing Haiku
Cheekwood’s celebration of the Japanese Moon Viewing Festival includes a haiku contest. A traditional Japanese haiku is a three-line poem with seven syllables, written in a 5/7/5 syllable count. Often focusing on images from nature, haikus emphasizes simplicity, intensity, and directness of expression. Get creative and be ready to send us your best work!
