Celebrating its 12th year in 2025, Fall for Cheekwood is Cheekwood’s take on an old-fashioned fall festival. Families come together for an afternoon of fun and friendship with timeless autumnal activities, like hayrides, live bluegrass music, lawn games, cocktails, a BBQ dinner, and more!

What does Fall for Cheekwood support?
Fall for Cheekwood raises funds for Cheekwood’s dynamic community education and outreach programs, like Destination Cheekwood.
Destination Cheekwood offers free field trips to school groups from Tennessee, Southern Kentucky, and Northern Alabama. Children in grades pre-K through 12 spend the day at Cheekwood in the best outdoor classroom, learning about art, history, and science. Students can learn about pollinators and garden ecosystems, understand how trees communicate, explore multiculturalism in the Blevins Japanese Garden, and more. Every field trip curriculum meets state standards and is led by trained educators.
In 2024, Cheekwood welcomed 13,008 students from 177 schools, thanks in large part to the generosity of our donors like you! To learn more about Destination Cheekwood, click here.
