Thursday Night Out
Thursday Night Out is an adventure through food, drink, art and song, every Thursday through October from 5:30 – 9 PM. The evening invites guests to sample seasonal beers, specialty cocktails created by premier spirit providers, irresistible bites from the city’s favorite food trucks and Café 29 while the always diverse music lineup provides the eclectic soundtrack. Nashville based Jazz guitarist Les Sabler was born and raised in Montreal, Canada and graduated as a Jazz major from Concordia University. Les has performed with his 5-piece band extensively since 1990, as a headliner and as opening act for countless national recording artists. Les Sabler brings a dynamic new guitar sound and formidable technique to TRANQUILITY, his first album in four years.

The Cowpokes are an authentic Country & Western two-step dance band that primarily performs songs from the 1940s-1960s. The Cowpokes are the undisputed best-dressed Honky Tonk band in Nashville and audiences young and old respond to The Cowpokes’ throwback playing style and their fans enjoy hearing them play timeless hits. The Cowpokes’ live shows are sure to transport you back to a musical era of days gone by— you’ll have to see it to believe it!

Sparkle City Disco are Nashville’s premier vinyl disco DJs. The duo – Jonas Stein and David Bermudez specialize in filling rooms with the sounds of deep, pre-house disco hits from the ’70s and ’80s, and deck venues out with oversized mirrored balls, hazers, lights and lasers. Their straight-ahead DJ style features all hits and no tricks, and pays homage to the original vinyl tastemakers while honoring the genre of disco.

One of the leanest, meanest blues combos around, The Tiger Beats take the stage at Cheekwood for a deep dive into the relentlessly grooving, no-nonsense 1950s and ’60s heyday of electric blues and soul, when folks like Elmore James, Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf and Bobby Blue Bland ruled the roost.
