Five separate bonsai clubs will participate this year with 60 displays of trees. There will be an exhibit of Kusamono (accent plants) and Suiseki (viewing stones) as well. Numerous vendors will be selling a variety of trees, plants and pots. Additionally, The Nashville Bonsai Society will have its 50th Anniversary merchandise on sale to launch donation support for the society’s endeavors in 2025.
The Statewide Bonsai Show will be judged by Brussel Martin from Brussel’s Bonsai Nursery out of Olive Branch, Mississippi. He will also give a full bonsai demonstration on a tree, which will be raffled off at the end of the day on Saturday. Workshops open to the public will be announced as the event date approaches (pre-registration is required).
