Perenn at Cheekwood is an all‑day café and bakery located in the Frist Learning Center courtyard, in the building that once served as the Cheek family garage. Featuring indoor and outdoor seating, the café offers guests a place to pause, gather, and savor thoughtfully crafted food amid the gardens.

Founded by husband‑and‑wife team Tyler and Aubrey O’Laskey, Perenn has built a devoted following for its artisanal pastries, handcrafted breads, and commitment to quality ingredients. The name Perenn, derived from “perennial,” speaks to the O’Laskeys’ love of plants and the idea that meaningful things return and grow stronger over time.

The Cheekwood menu features Perenn’s signature pastries, cookies, handmade breads and croissants, breakfast sandwiches on house-milled sourdough, hearty salads, and sandwiches, along with a full espresso and tea menu.

Perenn’s mission is to provide a gathering place that intentionally empowers education, care, and sustainability through the sharing of thoughtfully crafted food. Created by husband-and-wife team Tyler and Aubrey O’Laskey, Perenn is an all-day bakery, rotisserie and grocery concept. Perenn was founded in Reno, Nevada in 2018, expanded to Tennessee in 2025, and now features locations in Nashville, Tennessee and Franklin, Tennessee.
