Rodney Crowell is a legendary singer, songwriter, and performer whose career has spanned over five decades. Born in Houston, Texas, he emerged as a key figure in the outlaw country movement, blending literary storytelling with heartfelt melodies. Crowell first gained recognition as a songwriter, penning hits for Emmylou Harris, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny Cash before launching his own successful recording career.

Crowell’s 1988 album, Diamonds & Dirt, produced five No. 1 country hits, cementing his place as a country music icon. Over the years, Crowell has continued to evolve, earning Grammy Awards, Americana Music Honors, and widespread critical acclaim. His songwriting, deeply personal and poetic, has influenced generations of artists.

Her first No. 1 charting song was with Brett Young’s “Sleep Without You,” while her most recent hit was the song “Wild as Her,” performed by Corey Kent.
