Age Limits

For all camps, campers must be the proper age on or before the first day of the camper’s registered class in order to enroll. Cheekwood has the right to cancel or switch the session of anyone registered in the wrong age group. If you have questions about moving your child to a different age range, please email [email protected] or call (615) 353-9827 prior to registering for camp.

Special Needs

Cheekwood will make every attempt to serve campers who require special attention or consideration. As we are not a special needs camp, there may be some needs that we are unable to meet. We have a policy not to accept campers whose needs are beyond our training or capabilities. If your child has a special need or a life threatening allergy, please contact the Education Department at 615-353-2151 to discuss their needs before registering. We want to prepare the staff and teachers in advance so that we can make your child’s camp experience the best and safest it can be. Camper Aids must be at least 18 years or older.

48-Hour Illness Policy

Your child must remain free of fever or vomiting for 48 hours before returning to camp. The 48 hours begins when your child last vomits or when the fever has broken and remains in a normal range. Cheekwood does not refund missed camp days in the event of illness.
