Arrival and Check-In:

All Summer Camp traffic must enter through the Cheek Road Gate. Please do not attempt to enter our main entrance, you will be asked to turn around.

First Day of Camp:

• Check-in begins at 8:30 AM and 12:30 PM.
• Let the attendant at the Cheek Road gate know that you are here for summer camp.
• You are to park and accompany your camper to the check-in table located outside of the Frist Learning Center located next to parking lot C.

Camper Drop-Off and Pick-Up

• The rest of the week, drop-off begins at 8:45 AM and 12:45 PM.  
• Pick-up beings at 11:50 AM and 3:50 PM. 
• Don’t forget to put your parking pass received at check-in on your dashboard. 
  • Please note: the parking pass with the camper’s name will also serve as verification that you are authorized to sign out the camper. 
  • Each camper will be given two tags. If you need additional, please email [email protected] before Friday at 3 pm the week before your camp. 

• Please use the carpool drop-off and pick-up lane each day for everyone’s safety. 
  • Do not walk up to the carpool area or camper’s classroom. Please do not enter the Frist Learning Center without speaking to a camp staff member first.

Health & Safety:

Cheekwood’s summer camp illness policy: Your camper must remain free of fever or vomiting for 48 hours before returning to camp. All policies are subject to change.

Camper Registration & Medical Release Form:

• If you did not complete the camper information and medical release form already, please make sure this is done before you arrive for the first day of camp. Your camper will not be able to attend camp without a completed form.
  • If you are sending a camper multiple weeks, you only need to complete the form once.
  • Camper Information Form
• If you are leaving any medication with your camper, you will be prompted to fill out a medical release as a part of your camper information form. We must have your insurance company and policy number on file. Please bring a copy of it with you to check-in on the first day.

Snacks & Lunch:

• Camp is NUT-FREE (Peanut and tree nut)
  • Please make sure your snacks and lunch are completely nut free (peanut and tree nut).
• Please make sure to pack a snack with your camper each day.
• If you child is joining us for lunch, please note that Cheekwood does not provide lunch.
• All campers must bring a water bottle. Refill stations are available.

Dress for Mess & Outdoor Fun:

• Please send your child to camp in clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
• Walking shoes like sneakers are highly recommended.
• As we will be encouraging camp groups to spend time outside, we recommend applying sunscreen and bug spray before getting to camp!

First Day of Camp Check-List:

• Complete online camper information form prior to arrival.
• A nut-free/peanut free snack and lunch if your camper is here from 12-1 PM.
• A refillable water bottle.
• Clothes that can get dirty.
• An excited camper ready for a fun week!
