The Nashville Bonsai Society, is an active proponent for enjoyment, education, and appreciation of the art of bonsai in Nashville for over half a century.

The event will feature over 50 judged displays from bonsai clubs across Tennessee, along with an expert-led demonstration, tree critiques, and vendors selling a variety of bonsai trees, plants, pots, and more. The show will be judged by Adair Martin from Plant City Bonsai out of Clermont, Georgia.

Saturday, July 20
10 AM – 4 PM | Open to Public
11 AM – 12 PM | Demonstration | Massey Auditorium inside Botanic Hall
The demonstration will feature a discussion on a Shimpaku Juniper, “Itoigawa”.

3:30 PM | Tree Critiques | Massey Auditorium inside Botanic Hall
Learn more about the anatomy and characteristics of bonsai trees that encapsulate excellence. The judging of trees will occur throughout the day and discussion of winning trees will follow. Tree critiques offer an opportunity for all to discover new concepts and advance in knowledge.
