1 – 3 PMDuring this workshop, participants will be introduced to the 3 writing systems of the Japanese language, their history and uses. After learning the basics, participants will have the opportunity to create their own calligraphy to take home. In partnership with The Language Center with support from the Consulate-General of Japan in Nashville.
Adult classes and workshops are for participants 18 years old and older only. Minors should not be brought into classrooms and other instructional areas.
Participants in this workshop will also receive free admission to the Japanese Moon Viewing celebration, Sunday, October 9 from 4pm-9pm.
