Cabaret at Cheekwood

The Frist Learning Center Great Hall transforms into a French Cabaret for the opening weekend of Cheekwood in Bloom, featuring acoustic music on Saturday and a vocal trio on Sunday.

French Culture with Amélie de Gaulle *

Join Amélie de Gaulle, Honorary Consul of France for Tennessee and great niece of past President of France, General Charles de Gualle, as she talks all things France. A native Parisienne, Ms. de Gualle will share stories of her homeland and discuss the best of French culture.

French cheese is so much more than brie! Learn about the many types of fromage and how to best enjoy them from the cheese mongers of Grey Cheese.

France is arguably the wine world’s most important country, and home to famed regions such as Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne. Under the guidance of a trained sommelier, taste a few of the best of what France has to offer.

All About Crêpes

Crêpes originated in France around Brittany all the way back in the 13th century. Crêpes can be filled with sweet or savory items, making them a favorite throughout the day. Join the experts of Black Diamond Culinary to learn about the history of crêpes, taste a few versions, and even try your own hand at creating one.

TOTS! returns in 2024 with more fun for the little ones in the Bracken Foundation Children’s Garden. Beginning March 9, tots and their guardians can enjoy drop-in style hands-on activities and storytimes Tuesday through Saturday. Join a member of the garden staff for a crowd favorite, Turtle Talks, as they feed the turtles and answer questions about the Children’s Garden’s shelled residents. Each week’s theme is inspired by current exhibitions or seasonal festivals, encouraging exploration of art and the natural world.
