As the sun set across Cheekwood’s gardens and pumpkin patch, the evening came to a close with festive favors from BATCH Nashville that sent a little FALL FOR CHEEKWOOD magic home with every family.
Cheekwood thanks the Host Families, Patrons and attendees of its fifth annual FALL FOR CHEEKWOOD and gratefully acknowledges the important support of the in-kind supporters below who generously lent their time and support to the this truly special benefit.
Children and adults alike enjoyed signature harvest activities including hayrides, Christie Cookie Co. decorating, a towering hay slide, ‘Pumpkin Tic-Tac-Toe,’ pumpkin ring toss, art activities, and even a temporary tattoo stand. Guests also captured the perfect fall family photos in the Schenk Photography photo booth.
Guests enjoyed a delicious southern supper provided by Jim ‘N Nick’s Community Bar-B-Q, signature Bang Candy Company s’mores, as well as delicious treats from Kernels Gourmet Popcorn and Nashville Soft Pretzel Co. Specialty cocktails provided by Lipman Brothers, LLC and made with Bang Candy Company signature syrups provided the perfect respite from the late afternoon heat. The event design and rentals from Please Be Seated were highlighted with stunning florals by Garden Delights Fine Florist.
On Sunday, September 30th, children and families headed to Cheekwood for the fifth annual FALL FOR CHEEKWOOD Family Benefit. A sold-out success for the fifth year running, FALL FOR CHEEKWOOD raises funds to support Cheekwood’s free school tours program, allowing 12,000 school children to visit and experience the wonder of Cheekwood each year, giving access to children who may not otherwise have the opportunity. Co-chairs Sara Garner and Mary Huddleston helped kick off the benefit, welcoming guests to a beautiful evening throughout Cheekwood’s gardens with fall-themed offerings for guests of all ages. This year’s FALL FOR CHEEKWOOD was presented by Houlihan Lokey and sponsored by Hand Family Companies and naviHealth.
