  • Adult chaperones who are non-school district employees (for example, parents of students) are welcome to join the field trip. Title 1 School chaperones are admitted free of charge, all non-title 1 schools will receive a discounted admission price of $16 per chaperone. More details regarding the chaperone attendance fee will be included in future communication.

    Due to timed ticketing, all group tour entry will occur on the half hour. Date and time requests must be at least two weeks in advance.

  • Logistics

    Note: Cheekwood offers several outdoor picnicking areas.
  • Field trips are weather permitting. This includes rain, snow, and extreme temperatures. Education staff will be in touch with scheduled schools at least 24 hours before a scheduled trip if a change is necessary. Field trips will be rescheduled as space permits.
