Join us on Oct. 29 to wrap up the Harvest NIGHTS season in style and get in the mood for Halloween at our Bootanical Bash costume contest and dance party.

The fall festival continues after dusk at Harvest NIGHTS on Thursdays, where you can see the scarecrows illuminated after dark, plus our towering Jack-o’-Lantern Topiary, a glowing centerpiece built from dozens of hand-carved faux jack-o’-lanterns.

Get into the spirit with cornhole and other garden games on Arboretum Lawn, pumpkin-carving demonstrations by Master Carver Lundy Cupp, live music, food trucks, specialty cocktails, and all the makings of a memorable outing for the whole family.

Ask a Gardener | 5 – 7 PM

Stop by the Ask a Gardener table during Harvest NIGHTS to meet Cheekwood horticulturists and get expert advice on plants, gardening, and landscape design. Create a fall seed mix to take home using a curated selection of native plants, and young nature lovers can celebrate migratory bird season by completing a fun art activity. We hope you’ll join us!

Reserving a timed-entry ticket in advance is required for all guests. During busy seasons and events, Cheekwood may reach parking capacity. If parking capacity is reached, walk-up tickets will only be available for those utilizing rideshare services.

Bootanical Bash with Lydia Brittan and the Royal Family

Soul/Rock

Known for a unique sound that blends 1960s Motown, classic Etta James-style vocals, and modern retro-pop, this Nashville band led by commanding vocalist Lydia Brittan brings a special Halloween-themed set that’s sure to entice your spooky side.

Pumpkin Painting Contest

Vote for your favorite creation in our Pumpkin Painting Contest featuring hand-painted pumpkins designed by advanced art students from James Lawson High School. Public judging takes place from 5-7 PM, with winners announced at 8 PM.
